Cheek filler in North Shields

Cheek filler restores volume in the mid-face, often one of the first areas to flatten with age.

Placed carefully, it supports the whole face, giving a soft lift and a fresher, less tired look rather than changing your shape. It can also add gentle definition if your cheekbones have always been on the flatter side. The aim is always balance: supported, not puffy.

Timeline

What to expect, day by day

Cheeks usually swell less than lips. Your result is judged at four weeks.

  1. Day 1

Results are visible straight away. Mild swelling, tenderness and occasional bruising are normal.

  2. Day 3

Swelling is settling. The area can still feel firm or tender to touch.

  3. Day 7

Most swelling has gone and the shape looks more even.

  4. Day 14

A good time for a review.

  5. Final result

Fully settled at four weeks. Longevity varies by product and your metabolism.

FAQs

Questions, answered honestly

Will cheek filler make my face look bigger?

Not when it's planned well. The aim is to replace what's been lost and support your features, not to add volume for its own sake.

How much will I need?

It depends on how much volume has been lost. Some people need 1ml, others benefit from 2ml spread across both sides for a balanced result. You will get an honest recommendation at consultation.

Can cheek filler help with the lines around my mouth?

Sometimes. Restoring support in the mid-face can soften how deep those lines look. Whether it will help you is assessed at consultation, and sometimes a different approach is better.

How long does cheek filler last?

Often around 12 to 18 months. Cheek fillers are firmer and the area moves less than the lips, so results tend to last longer.

Is there downtime?

Most people go back to normal activities the same day. Swelling or bruising is possible, so allow a few days before a big event.
